MS High Tack (AST Polymer) is a professional-grade, one-component adhesive based on Advanced Silyl-Terminated (AST) polymer technology. It is specifically engineered to provide an extremely high initial "grab," allowing heavy materials to be bonded to vertical surfaces or ceilings without the need for mechanical support like clamps or fixing tape.
Initial Tack: Can support heavy building materials immediately. One technical source note it can support between 2 to 2.6 g/cm² vertically immediately after application.
Tensile Strength: 3.0–3.5 N/mm² (ISO 37).
Cure Time: Tack-free in 15–20 minutes; full curing rate of approx. 3.5 mm per 24 hours.
Temperature Resistance: Remains stable from -40°C to +90°C (-40°F to +194°F).
Safety: Eco-friendly formula; free from solvents, isocyanates, acids, and halogens.
Heavy Materials: Bonding mirrors, stone, concrete, glass, and metal panels.
Construction: Installing doorsteps, windowsills, skirting boards, and wall cladding.
Specialty Use: Can be applied on damp or wet surfaces and is even effective underwater in some cases.
Finish: The cured adhesive is over-paintable with water-based paints and does not shrink or form bubbles.
