EFI Wide Format Solvent Flush

Primary Applications:

Routine Printhead Maintenance: Removes residual buildup and dried ink from the outer surfaces of the nozzle plates without damaging delicate mechanical hardware.

System Purging: Used during ink changeovers or color swaps to thoroughly clear old ink lines and remove trapped air pockets from bleed valves.

Long-Term Shutdowns: Functions as a storage fluid to fill lines and cap printheads, preventing internal ink from curing or clogging during extended periods of machine inactivity.

Hardware Compatibility: Designed natively for legacy EFI systems, including the EFI

Best Practices for System Flushing:

Clear Lines via Purge Valves: Disconnect the standard ink supply stems, substitute them with spare bottles filled with clean flush, and perform isolated purges until the discharge through the bleed valves runs completely clear.

Execute Syringe Cleans Gently: For highly stubborn clogs, use an external syringe to push the flush fluid independently through the individual lines. Never apply excessive pressure, which can rupture internal printhead membranes.

Set Up Wet Parking for Storage: When shutting down the machine, clean the waste tray and park the print carriage manually over lint-free cloths that are heavily saturated with the solvent flush fluid to ensure the nozzles remain moist.
